Today in UOI, we have some visitors. The ones who are coming are my father and Nabilla’s’ uncle. Nabilla’s uncle explained about the whole region in the classroom and my father talked about Karimun and Batam. Nabilla’s uncle went first so my father came at 1 ‘o’ clock. For Bintan, we did our own research and while Nael’s group and Ari’s group went downstairs.

In UOI, we took note the chart of our province and it contains; situations and the resources. After that, we highlighted the information (or words) that are there on our assigned region or city. We moved on to Task 3 and we plan on what to do to in this task. We had a few more minutes and Mr. Perico asked about whose parents are from Karimun and stuffs like that. So I raised my hand and I told him that my father could come.

Today, we didn’t have UOI because of the PYP Dunia meeting stuff.
So we have Maths 2 hours with Ms. Erika (Mr. Perico went to the gym 2 hours.)
We made a Maths problem and shared it with the whole class. Nael created a maniac problem with 3 different answers.After we checked the answers, it’s right! I called Nael a mad scientist and we went home a bit late.

This is the following activities I did in the following subject;

In English, we typed our persuasive essay in the computer room. First, we typed it in the Microsoft Office Word. Then we copied and pasted our work (or essay) in the Microsoft Office Publisher. But before that, we need to choose a layout for our essay.

In Maths, we had top 10 and I got the score 8.Oh yeah, the people who got the score 9 will compete and if one of them wins, they will get a ticket for a spa thingy. The one who got the ticket is Nael. Then we played the battle of the brains (not brainless). We are divided into 5 groups. Our group’s score is 2, Kennedy’s group got 3, and Rizqi’s group got 5 and it’s the same score like Nael’s group. They have a competition for who will be the winner of the game and Rizqi wins.

In UOI, we checked our group mate’s work. Insan didn’t do his homework and we made a mind map about our ideas. We’re done with 3 main ideas but the other one main idea will be continued tomorrow. We got some homework and there are only 2 homework.

Today, I played in my house all day long with my brother. Most of the time, I played my Nintendo DS. I and my brother are planning to trade a Pokemon. He wanted to trade his Dialga (a legendary Pokemon) with my Palkia (also a legendary Pokemon.) Oh yeah, I forgot one thing, I watched a movie called Tom & Jerry Blast Off To Mars. The movie is about two astronauts is going to prove there are no aliens. The story is really funny.

In school, we tried to complete the PYP attitudes examples and Mr. Perico did some groupings. I think the attitudes left are only curiosity, empathy, tolerance, and I forgot some. My group mates are Ari and Vincent. I think we got tolerance. We gave 3 examples. Vincent is the one who wrote the examples. I and Ari gave the examples and Vincent too.

Today we read about Fantastic Mr. Fox and it is one of Roald Dahl’s famous books.
We read chapter 1 till chapter 2. There are 3 mean farmers called: Boggiss, Bons, and Bean. Mr. Fox always steal (he asked his wife first) chicken from Boggiss’ farm, duck from Bon’s farm or turkey from Bean’s farm. Man, it was so funny!
